10:35 - 10:55   Professor Mee-Len Chye (Wilson and Amelia Wong Professor in Plant Biotechnology, School of Biological Sciences), Dean of the Graduate School, will inform you of the resources available to supervisors and their research postgraduate students.

10:55 - 11:15   Professor Dennis Y.C. Leung (Professor, Associate Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering), recipient of the Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Award 2017-18, will talk about “A win-win approach of postgraduate research student's supervision”.

11:15 - 11:35   Dr Julian A. Tanner (Associate Professor, Associate Director (Teaching & Learning), School of Biomedicial Sciences, Assistant Dean (Biomedical Sciences Curriculum), Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine), recipient of the Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Award 2016-17, will talk about "Fostering a culture for student success and research success".

11:35 - 11:55   Professor Anthony G.O. Yeh (Chair Professor (Urban Planning and Geographic Information Systems), Department of Urban Planning and Design), recipient of the Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Award 2017-18, will talk about "How to Train Successful Research Postgraduate Students".
