HKU Visualise Your Thesis Competition 2020

Date Time Venue
July 7, 2020 (Tuesday)
5:00 p.m. Online

Challenge yourself to join the HKU Visualise Your Thesis (HKU VYT) Competition 2020 and explain your research to everybody in a 60-second ePoster!

Visualise Your Thesis is an exciting competition introduced by The University of Melbourne, Australia, that challenges graduate researchers to present their research in a 60 second, eye-catching digital display.  Using a pre-supplied template, research postgraduate (RPg) students are tasked with developing a striking looped presentation to encapsulate their research projects in short, engaging, digital narratives.  Competition submissions are judged on their visual impact, and how well the content presents the research to a non-specialist audience.  The digital format allows for different levels of creativity, multi-media, interactivity and interpretation and is suitable for all disciplines.

HKU VYT 2020 is organised by the Knowledge Exchange Office (KEO), with support from the Graduate School, and is open to all HKU MPhil and PhD students whose candidature have been confirmed.  Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your research to a general audience!

For details of the Competition, including the competition rules, eligibility criteria, technical instructions, past winning entries of HKU VYT, and other related information, please visit the HKU VYT website (http://www.vyt.hku.hk).  Should you wish to get the latest information about the Competition, please “LIKE” KEO’s Facebook
