The Graduate School and the Knowledge Exchange Office (KEO) cordially invite all final-year RPg students to attend a briefing session for the HKU Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition 2019. Learn why 3MT skills are important to young researchers and get some tips to start preparing for the Competition.

SCHEDULE
Date of Competition: March 7, 2019
Time: 10am to 5pm (parallel heats in the morning & a final competition in the afternoon)
Venue: Graduate House, HKU
Date of briefing session for interested students: December 4, 2018
Time: 1pm to 2pm

TWO-STEP REGISTRATION
For registration to enter the HKU 3MT Competition, the following TWO steps must be completed:
[1] Preliminary registration using the HKU Event Management System:

EMS Registration Deadline: 5pm on January 21, 2019 (NO late registrations will be accepted)
[2] Each registrant must submit his/her primary supervisor’s completed endorsement form (downloadable from the Graduate School website:http://www.gradsch.hku.hk/gradsch/downloadable-forms/current-students#4) to the GRADUATE SCHOOL by January 23, 2019 to complete the registration process.
