Wanna have a chance to meet Hong Kong iconic leaders?
The Graduate School is inviting you to join a briefing session of Time Auction, a charity where you join a dinner with a Hong Kong iconic leader after volunteering 10 hours at any local charity!
Founded in 2014, TIME AUCTION is a registered charity which connects you to inspiring mentors while encouraging volunteerism. On their website (https://timeauction.org), you find a ‘reward’ donated by a mentor, apply and pledge to do the volunteer hours. Once you have completed the volunteer hours, you will have the chance to meet the mentor. Among the inspiring mentors on the list are:
• Anson Chan (Former Chief Secretary of the HKSAR Government)
• Tsang Yam Pui (Former Commissioner of Police and CEO of NWS Holdings)
• Frederick Ma (Chairman of MTR)
• Alfred Chan (Managing Director of the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited)
• York Chow (Chief Medical Officer & Corporate Advisor of AIA Hong Kong and Macau Limited)
• Tony Chan (President of HKUST)
and many others …
In the briefing session, Ms Suetyi Wong, Co-founder of Time Auction, and Ms Ivy Wong, Program Manager of Time Auction, will talk about what Time Auction is all about and how your volunteer hours can turn to an inspiring meeting with incredible people in town.
