Asia-Pacific Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems (APCIEE)

HKU, in partnership with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), CUHK and HKUST, is going to host the inaugural Asia-Pacific Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems from 2 to 5 December 2019 at the Hong Kong Science Park.

The 4-day conference aims at providing an arena for (a) critical discussions on nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems and (b) inspiring collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and geographies. Academics and practitioners in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems are going to speak on topics related, but not limited, to:

[1] The roles of research universities in accelerating the development of innovation hubs
[2] University-industry-government collaboration for innovation-led development
[3] Fostering entrepreneurship for enhancing the innovation ecosystems
[4] Smart cities as innovation hubs
[5] Achieving entrepreneurial success in innovative technological areas in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
